Yardistry Direct 'Mocha Brown' Wood Stain & Protector 5L

Designed for outdoor timber, Yardistry Direct Mocha Brown Wood Stain & Protector is a water-based stain and protector created for Yardistry Direct wooden gazebos, pavilions and pergolas. It provides a waterproof coating to help minimise the effects of weathering, including cracks and splinters, while also resisting algal and fungal attack.

Easy to apply and fast drying, the formulation is child, pet and plant friendly and does not contain turpentine, white spirit or heavy metals. It is described as having very low VOCAs (volatile organic compounds). For best results, apply to clean, dry surfaces and follow the recommended drying times between coats.

Care

Stir well before and during use. Apply by brush, sponge, low pressure spray gun or roller and allow to dry for 2–4 hours; if left longer, sand back lightly before applying the next coat. Clean tools and splashes with warm water and detergent while still wet.

Safety information

• Do not apply in temperatures below 5C (41 F), or if wet weather is expected within 48hrs
• Do not apply to wet, damp or frozen timber
• Keep out of reach of children and animals
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
• Wear suitable protective clothing (coveralls) and synthetic rubber/PVC gloves
• Keep unprotected persons and animals away until coated surfaces are dry
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes; rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary
• May be harmful if swallowed
• Do not allow this product to freeze
• Do not empty product into drains, water courses or access to septic tanks
