Yardistry Direct 'Natural Cedar' Wood Stain & Protector 5L

Designed for outdoor timber, Yardistry Direct Natural Cedar Wood Stain & Protector helps protect and weatherproof Yardistry Direct wooden Gazebos, Pavilions and Pergolas, while also suiting a wide range of other porous surfaces. The water-based formula is easy to apply and fast drying, creating a microporous waterproof coating that resists algal and fungal attack and helps minimise weathering effects such as cracks and splinters.

Formulated without turpentine, white spirit or heavy metals, it is described as child, pet and plant friendly, with very low VOCAs (volatile organic compounds). Blended organic pigments are used to support a bright, pure, long-lasting colour, while added wax and acrylic enhance water repellency. For maximum protection and durability, 2 coats are recommended, with each additional coat increasing colour and sheen.

Care

Clean tools and splashes while still wet using warm water and detergent, and wash sprayer nozzles and pipes immediately after use. Do not allow product to dry on tools or in the sprayer.

Safety information

• Do not apply in temperatures below 5C (41 F), or if wet weather is expected within 48hrs
• Do not apply to wet, damp or frozen timber
• Keep out of reach of children and animals
• Ensure good ventilation during application and drying
• Wear suitable protective clothing (coveralls) and synthetic rubber/PVC gloves
• Keep unprotected persons and animals away until coated surfaces are dry
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes; rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if necessary
• May be harmful if swallowed
