The cork top is made from a blend of natural cork and recycled cork, while the underside uses open-cell natural rubber, attached with a layer of non-toxic adhesive and fabric scrim. Both sides can be used, letting you choose between cork or rubber depending on your preference.

Cork becomes grippier when wet and is described as anti-bacterial and antimicrobial, helping to repel mould and mildew. For extra traction, Yoga Studio recommends sprinkling or spritzing water where your hands and feet go. With superior cushioning for joints and a design that lays flat without bunching or rolling during practice, it’s a considered choice for regular yoga sessions. The mat is also stated to be 100% biodegradable and sustainable.

Care

Do not fold or crease. Roll with the cork surface on the outside and the rubber surface on the inside. To clean, wipe with warm soapy water (using only a little soap) or a standard cleaning spray, then leave to air dry before rolling up.
