Yves Saint Laurent Kouros Eau de Toilette 50ml for Him

First launched in 1981, Yves Saint Laurent Kouros Eau de Toilette is an aromatic fougère for men with a bold, unmistakable signature. Inspired by the statuesque elegance of ancient Greek sculpture, it balances classic structure with an assertive, confident character.

The opening is bright and aromatic, blending bergamot with clary sage, coriander, artemisia and aldehydes. A richly textured heart follows, where jasmine and orris root meet geranium, carnation, cinnamon, vetiver and patchouli. In the dry-down, Kouros becomes warmer and more animalic, layering musk and amber with vanilla, tonka bean, oakmoss, leather, civet and a distinctive touch of honey.

Musky, animalic tones sit at the centre, supported by spice and sweetness for a warming finish that suits cooler autumn and winter days, as well as evening wear. The composition was created by perfumer Pierre Bourdon.
