Designed for secure wire rope terminations, these DIN741 galvanised Commercial Wire Rope Grips are sized to suit 30mm wire rope and supplied in a quantity of 2. Ideal for creating loops in wire rope, they’re suited to practical applications including use aboard boats, in public areas and for yacht rigging where a dependable clamp is required.

A galvanised finish provides excellent corrosion resistance, helping the grips perform reliably in demanding environments.

Safety information

• Before fitting, grease the threads on the nuts and bolts
• Allow at least 6 times the rope diameter between grips
• Fit with the ‘U’ bolt on the unloaded end of the rope
• Tighten each nut evenly in turn to achieve the recommended torque settings
• Leave unused for 24 hours, then re-check torque settings and re-tighten if required
• After the first load application, re-check torque settings and re-tighten if required
• During service, check torque settings periodically
