Beattie, Mimi and Zelda, joined by Steve the talking seahorse, find themselves trapped aboard the spooky ship the Merry Mary, heading for the legendary Crocodile Kingdom. Elsewhere, Paris Silkensocks discovers a plot to destroy the mermaid world and must try to reach the mermaids in time.

In Frostopia, the mermaids help Maritza Mist, a water witch who supplies magic spells to the underwater kingdoms. When two bad mermaids escape from Viper View prison and steal Maritza’s map to twelve magical objects, Beattie, Mimi and Zelda travel the underwater kingdoms to stop them.
