Made from corrosion-resistant galvanised iron with a silver finish, each basket is built for stability using 3.5 mm wire and a 5 x 10 cm mesh. Once assembled, the cages are intended to be filled with rocks or gravel to create a stable construction, while strengthened gabion hooks help hold opposing wire panels firmly together so the structure retains its shape.
