Treatment & maintenance

Corten steel arrives with a normal metal finish and will develop its rusted protective layer over time when exposed to atmospheric conditions. This surface can be encouraged by spraying with soap water and salt water. To avoid staining clothing, avoid contact with the developing rust layer.
