Berkfield Pond Liner Black 1x8 m PVC 0.5 mm

Designed to form the foundation of a tailored garden pond, the Berkfield Pond Liner offers a practical base for creating your own pond system across a range of outdoor settings. Made from PVC in a black finish, it is highly elastic and tear-resistant, making it suitable for shaping both shallow and deep water zones.

The liner is suitable for fish and is harmless to plants and animals, supporting a considered pond environment for wildlife and aquatic planting. Berkfield also makes installation straightforward, as the material can be cut with scissors and can be glued or welded with PVC glue. UV, welding seam and cold resistance add to its suitability for outdoor use, while resistance to swelling, rotting and ageing helps maintain performance over time.

• Before laying the pond liner, make sure the surface is dry and free from ice, snow, stones and other hard or sharp objects to avoid cuts, bumps and damage
• Pond liner length: finished pond length + twice depth + twice edge overlap
• Pond liner width: finished pond width + twice depth + twice edge overlap
• Minimum recommended overlap: 0.10 m
• It is recommended to buy some extra metres to allow for error and to provide enough liner to tuck in around the edges above the maximum water level
• A suitable pond fleece is recommended beneath the pond foil for load distribution and lower mechanical load on the pond foil
