Synopses

Big Sky Mountain

Rosa leaves the city to live with Grandma Nan in the wilds of Big Sky Mountain. Life in an old wooden cabin quickly proves full of surprises, not least because Grandma Nan is far from ordinary. With Albert the moose and Little Pig the pygmy owl close by, each day is shaped by the adventures waiting outside the door.

Big Sky Mountain: The Forest Wolves

On Big Sky Mountain there is always work to be done, whatever the weather. As Rosa and Grandma Nan build a bigger cabin, a storm drives animals to seek shelter, including an unexpected arrival: a tiny wolf cub. Rosa must reconsider what she has heard about the forest wolves when this visitor doesn’t match the frightening stories.

Big Sky Mountain: The Beach Otters

A distress flare sends Rosa and Grandma Nan to Toe-Dipper Bay to find out who needs help. They arrive to a beach strewn with plastic rubbish and meet a family of beach otters farming seaweed while trying to clear the mess. Joining in means tackling the clean-up and uncovering who sent the flare, as something lies wrecked out at sea.

Big Sky Mountain: The Sky Eagles

When Grandma Nan disappears, Rosa draws on her survival skills to track down where she has gone. Help from the mountain community leads her towards the summit of Big Sky Mountain, where a family of eagles are dealing with serious difficulties. As Rosa helps them, she comes to see Big Sky Mountain as home.
