Black Sabbath The Ultimate Collection is a 2LP black vinyl set bringing together 17 tracks curated by band members. Formed in Birmingham in 1968 by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, the group began as Earth before adopting the Black Sabbath name and developing occult and horror-inspired lyrics alongside tuned-down guitars.

This collection includes Paranoid, Iron Man, War Pigs, N. I. B and The Wizard, alongside selections from their classic albums. The audio was remastered in 2009 by engineer Andy Pearce.
