The nose brings ripe cherries, rosehips and earthy, leafy woodland nuances, alongside a fresh apricot character. On the palate, it is succulent and rounded, with surprising body and very soft tannins. A long finish completes a wine that is drinking beautifully now and over the next three to four years. It is aged underground in large clay tinajas, reflecting an older Spanish approach to winemaking.
