Budureasca Sauvignon & Sauvignon White Wine

From Budureasca in Muntenia, Sauvignon & Sauvignon is a dry white wine that brings together Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon in an unusual blend. Bottled at 13% ABV, it combines 70% Sauvignon Blanc with 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, with each variety vinified to preserve its individual character before blending.

Fresh and precise in style, the wine opens with aromas of asparagus and gooseberries. The palate shows grapefruit and gooseberry notes with a medium body and a balanced, lively profile. Grapes were selected from terraced vineyard plots with fertile limestone soils and marked day-to-night temperature variation, while the Sauvignon Blanc was fermented at 15C and left on the lees for a year.
