Carastelec Carassia Classic Sparkling Wine

From Carastelec, Carassia Classic Brut is a traditional method sparkling wine from Crisana si Maramures with 12% ABV. Bottle-aged for a minimum of 24 months, it combines fine, persistent effervescence with a dry style and a layered, autolytic character.

The wine opens with aromas of citrus, peach, apple and green pear, alongside white flowers, brioche and delicate herbal notes. Bread crust and sourdough nuances add further depth, leading into a long, complex finish with mineral notes. Its structure and persistent mousse make it well suited to the table, particularly with oysters, aged cheeses or poultry in cream sauce.
