Celestron NexStar+ Hand Control with USB, EQ

For Celestron equatorial GoTo mounts, the NexStar+ Hand Control USB, EQ puts full telescope control and a substantial object database into a compact handheld unit. It is compatible with current equatorially mounted Celestron computerised telescopes and mounts, including the Advanced VX, CGEM, CGEM II, CGX and CGX-L series.

A dual-line, 16-character LCD screen with adjustable backlighting keeps information clear at the eyepiece, while the 40,000-object database gives direct access to Messier, NGC, Caldwell and SAO brightest stars, along with planets and a selection of popular targets. Tour Mode presents objects for the time and date of observation, and setup functions include SkyAlign, customisable maximum slew speed and programmable slew limits. USB Flash Upgradeable Technology allows software updates via Celestron Firmware Manager, with direct PC connection through a mini-USB cable for updates or optional telescope control with third-party software.
