Celestron Aluminum Dew Shield with Cover Cap 6"

For 6-inch Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope tubes, this Celestron aluminium dew shield with cover cap adds rigid front-end protection while helping to control dew and stray light. Its aluminium body is velvet lined on the inside, reducing off-axis glare within the optical system, and the supplied aluminium cover cap protects the Schmidt corrector from dust when the telescope is not in use.

The shield attaches with two adjustable clips for a secure fit and includes openings at the top and bottom for dovetail rails. A built-in cable management slot at the base keeps cables contained when using Fastar/Hyperstar configurations or in conjunction with Celestron Dew Heater Rings. The rigid construction resists folding, flexing and distortion, making it a practical accessory for regular field use and astroimaging setups.
