Celestron Off-Axis Guider

Accurate guiding becomes far more straightforward with the Celestron Off-Axis Guider, an astroimaging accessory for long focal length telescopes. Suited to Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD telescopes, it uses a 12. 5mm multi-coated prism to pick up a guide star from the telescope’s focal plane, allowing guiding corrections to match the movement seen by the main imaging camera.

A 48mm clear aperture supports full frame cameras without vignetting, while the fixed-orientation helical focuser allows smooth, precise adjustment of the autoguider focus without rotating the camera. Celestron includes a broad set of spacers and adapters for common imaging configurations, including DSLR cameras, Nightscape CCD cameras and other popular astroimaging cameras, helping to simplify setup across a wide range of systems.
