Celestron Origin Mark II Intelligent Home Observatory Telescope

Built around Celestron’s intelligent imaging platform, the Origin Mark II smart telescope brings a 152mm Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph optical system together with a 335mm focal length and an ultra-fast f/2. 2 design in one integrated setup. This computerised alt-azimuth model combines the new Sony IMX678-AAQR1 CMOS image sensor with StarSense auto-alignment, creating a streamlined route into deep-sky astroimaging for users who want an all-in-one home observatory.

The 6-inch RASA optical tube is paired with a single fork-arm mount, built-in computer, WiFi, autofocuser and a dew prevention system with environmental sensor, dew heater ring and dew shield. Real-time AI stacking and image processing are handled within the system, while the Celestron Origin app for iOS and Android provides control from a phone or tablet. Raw image files can also be downloaded for manual processing, and the integrated filter drawer supports further experimentation with filters for daytime observing or night-time imaging.
