Astrophotography becomes far more accessible with the Sky-Watcher SmartPhoto smartphone camera adapter, a telescope accessory that connects a phone to an eyepiece for capturing still images and video. It fits smartphones between 54-90mm wide and works with 1. 25-inch eyepieces, including eyepieces up to 34mm in diameter.

Practical in use, the adapter secures the phone in foam-lined jaws, then allows the camera position to be adjusted backwards, forwards or side to side for accurate alignment over the eyepiece. Two plastic screws hold the adapter in place on the eyepiece. With the rubber eye cup removed, it is compatible with Sky-Watcher Super-MA, Super Plossl and Ultrawide 1. 25-inch eyepieces, as well as many common 1. 25-inch eyepieces from other manufacturers.
