Chateau d'Issan Margaux Grand Cru Classe 2016 75cl

From one of Margaux’s oldest estates, Château d’Issan 2016 is a Bordeaux red with a long connection to England and a place in the 1855 classification as Troisième Cru Classé. Produced under Emmanuel Cruse, this vintage comes from the Margaux appellation and reflects the estate’s established style and history.

The vineyard spans 44 hectares and is planted to approximately 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Aged for around 18 months in oak barriques, with half new oak, it shows a deep, intense colour, blackcurrant and blueberry on the nose, and an elegant, fresh palate with soft tannins and notable length.
