Crama Delta Dunarii La Sapata Babeasca Neagra Organic Red Wine

From Crama Delta Dunarii in Romania’s Dobrogea region, La Sapata Babeasca Neagra is an organic red wine made from Babeasca Neagra grapes. Fermented with wild yeast, aged for five months on fine lees and bottled unfiltered, it has a distinctive artisanal style with 12.5% ABV.

Grapes are picked at full maturity in mid-September, with early morning harvesting followed by careful sorting in the winery and spontaneous fermentation at 18°C. Serve at 16–18°C alongside tomato pasta dishes, sausages, burgers or grilled chicken.
