Crama Delta Dunarii La Sapata Feteasca Regala Artisanal Organic White Wine

From Crama Delta Dunarii, La Sapata Feteasca Regala is an artisanal organic white wine from Dobrogea in south-east Romania. Made from Feteasca Regala and bottled at 12.5% ABV, it is fermented with wild yeast, aged for five months on fine lees, and bottled unfiltered.

Harvested at full maturity in mid-September, the grapes are picked early in the morning, carefully sorted in the winery, then pressed for 100% spontaneous fermentation at 18°C. Dry in style, this is a distinctive white suited to serving as an aperitif or alongside salads, smoked fish, light Asian dishes, shellfish and fish.

Nose

Pronounced fruity nose with notes of citrus, grass and elderflower

Palate

Refreshing and moreish, with grapefruit, white flowers and lime notes, lovely lingering acidity and a long lasting finish

Serving suggestion

Serve at 8–10°C. Suitable as an aperitif or with salads, smoked fish, light Asian dishes, shellfish and fish dishes.
