David Bowie The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars is an LP vinyl release of the artist’s fifth studio album, originally released in the UK on 16 June 1972 by RCA Records. The album was produced by David Bowie and Ken Scott.

Recording began in November 1971 at Trident Studios in London, with further sessions in early February 1972. The backing band The Spiders From Mars appears on the album: Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Mick Woodmansey.
