With a safe working load of 5 ton (5000 KGS) and a 7:1 safety factor, this sling is intended for towing or pulling where a flexible, easy-to-handle alternative to chain or wire rope slings is preferred. Its webbing construction is described as lighter than chain and wire rope slings, making it easier to transport, while the flexible form helps it fit the load without damage to the load or the sling itself. The sling can also be easily safety checked, with no hidden corrosion, and is stated not to weaken with age while offering the ability to absorb shocks.
