A stable, well-drained foundation makes all the difference to how a garden building performs over time. The EcoBase Fastfit Shed Base Kit is designed to create a firm, long-lasting base for 7x8ft, 8x8ft or 7x7ft buildings, using interconnecting grids made from 100% recycled waste plastics.

Positioned as an environmentally-friendly alternative to paving flags or wet-mix concrete, the Fastfit system uses integral T-shaped self-fastening connectors to lock the grids together. Rainwater drains through the cavities to the earth below, helping to keep floor bearers dry and ventilated, while the lightweight format makes it easier to carry and manoeuvre into place. For a neat finish, the perimeter can be filled with decorative aggregate to form a French drain and reduce rain splashback onto the building.
