Elton John Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy (50th Anniversary Edition) is a limited 2LP tri-colour vinyl pressing of the ninth studio album, originally released in May 1975. The record includes the single “Someone Saved My Life Tonight” and follows a chronological narrative of the early London years of Elton (Captain Fantastic) and Bernie (the Brown Dirt Cowboy) as they worked to establish their musical careers.

This deluxe 2LP coloured vinyl set pairs the original album with a second LP of additional audio: six previously unreleased session demos and four Captain Fantastic Live 2005 performances. It is presented in a foil-detailed package with a 28 page booklet containing a newly compiled scrapbook, sleeve notes and Elton’s never-before-seen 1974 diary entries.
