For masonry fixing into concrete, brick and stone, this Fixaball heavy duty shield anchor combines an M6 threaded loose hex bolt with a masonry shield. It has a 6mm thread diameter, a zinc finish and a high tensile 8,8 specification. Length options are available with maximum fixing thicknesses of 10mm, 25mm and 40mm.
Suitable where accurate installation is required, the anchor uses a 12mm shield hole size and must be fitted to the stated installation dimensions to achieve the listed performance values.

Safety information
- Drill holes square to the surface of the base material.
- Respect the specified minimum hole depth and diameters during installation.
- If drilling into reinforced concrete, avoid damaging rebar. If rebar is encountered, stop drilling, repair the hole with high quality mortar and create a new hole no less than twice the diameter of the shield anchor away.
- Clean the hole using an appropriate sized brush before fitting.
- At an installation temperature of 0, ensure water does not seep into the hole, as expansion from water to ice could crack the concrete.
- Under wet conditions, use a specified injection resin.
- Insert the anchor through the material to be fixed into the hole up to the embedment depth and use a hammer to ensure the required depth.
- Do not apply any intermediate layer between the material to be fixed and the washer, including sealing products.
- Apply the specified torque with a torque wrench.
- If the holes in the material to be fixed are larger than required, a thicker washer of larger diameter is necessary. This does not ensure correct distribution of shear loads amongst all anchors in the same group, and the shear load is applied only to anchors with a correct diameter on the material to be fixed.
