Fixaball Metric 1st Tapered Machine Taps HSS Standard Thread Osborn

For cutting internal metric coarse threads, this Osborn machine and hand tap is a 1st taper lead pattern suited to use in a pre-drilled hole. Supplied by Fixaball, it is made for metric standard/coarse threads and conforms to ISO 529 and BS 949.

The tapered lead helps guide the tap into an untapped hole at the start of the threading process. Using a suitable lubricant supports thread quality and helps extend tool life. Sizes are available from M2 to M20.
