Fixaball Metric Machine Taps HSS Osborn Quality 1st 2nd 3rd

For internal metric coarse threads, these Osborn machine and hand taps are available in 1st taper, 2nd intermediate and 3rd bottoming patterns. They are suited to creating threads in pre-drilled holes for matching metric standard coarse fasteners, with sizes available from M3 to M10.

The range covers taper lead, second lead and bottom lead forms to suit different stages of thread cutting. Use with a suitable lubricant to help produce cleaner threads and extend tap life. Manufactured to ISO 529/ BS 949, these taps are suitable for engineering and workshop use where metric standard coarse threading is required.
