Frescobaldi Mormoreto Toscana 2018 75cl

From Frescobaldi, Mormoreto Toscana 2018 is a red wine shaped by careful vineyard and cellar selection. Grown in the Mormoreto vineyard in Toscana, the site sits 300 metres above sea level with sandy soils and a south-western exposure, conditions that define its character.

The grapes were harvested by hand into 15 kg crates, with sorting carried out first in the vineyard and again on arrival at the cellar. The result is a wine with a fresh, expressive profile and a long, persistent finish, suited to the table or to slower, more considered drinking.

Nose

Balsamic and minty notes balanced with hints of bergamot and jasmine, followed by spicy notes of clove and vanilla and tertiary aromas of tobacco, cocoa powder and coffee bean.

Long and persistent.
