For a more considered staircase finish, the Handrails Direct Blakedown Midnight Wood half landing handrail system combines the look of dark timber with the practicality of steel. Designed for half landing staircases, it creates a neat, continuous handrail run through a change in direction while bringing visible grain, subtle tonal variation and added texture to the space.

The Midnight Wood finish is created through a vinyl wrap process bonded to a strong steel core, giving Handrails Direct Blakedown Midnight Wood a lighter, easy-to-maintain design with no sanding, staining or sealing required. Suitable for floor-to-floor heights up to 2800mm, the system can be fitted to half-landing staircases turning left or right and is compatible with the wider 40mm indoor handrail system.

Please note

• A discreet join line will be present on the underside of each pole as part of the wrapping process and should be positioned facing downwards during installation
• Poles can be cut to length if your staircase measures under 8.4 metres using a fine-toothed hacksaw with 24 to 32 TPI
• Accessory components are available in Loxley Antique Brass or Radway Chrome
