As Helen settles into a new chapter running the Seaview Hotel, an acting troupe arrives to rehearse a play intended to save a theatre from closure. Friction within the group soon intensifies, and the troupe’s leading lady is found dead. While Helen becomes involved in helping with the performance, she also faces threatening phone calls, vandalism to her car, and news of an impending hotel inspection, as she works to identify the killer.
