From one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s most revered estates, Henri Bonneau Cuvée Marie Beurrier 2013 is a magnum-format red wine from vines in Le Crau. The domaine aged its wines for 5 to 10 years in old Burgundy barrels before deciding whether to bottle them as Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cuvée Marie Beurrier or Réserve des Célestins.
Henri Bonneau led the estate until 2016, after which Marcel Bonneau became the 13th-generation proprietor. This 2013 vintage reflects the house’s distinctive approach, noted for a silky, nuanced style that stands apart within the appellation. The 150cl format makes it particularly suited to cellaring or serving at a special table.
