Kavaklidere Yakut Turkish Red Wine (750ml - 13%)

Founded in Ankara in 1929, Kavaklidere is one of Turkey’s defining wine producers, and Yakut is a red wine that reflects that long-established expertise. Made from Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Alicante and Carignan, it draws its fruit from vineyards in Eastern Anatolia and the Aegean regions and is produced with slow fermentation using natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks.

This 13% ABV wine shows red fruit aromas, with a balanced structure, ripe tannins and concentrated flavour on the palate. Suitable for drinking now or ageing for three to four years, it works particularly well alongside spicy cheeses and pizza.
