Synopses

Dread Wood

Hallie, Angelo, Gustav and Naira are made to attend school on a Saturday for detention. They expect it to be miserable, but it quickly becomes far worse as things turn seriously scary.

A new app-based game called Flinch sweeps Dread Wood High, rewarding players for scaring their friends. What starts as fun soon becomes fear, and Angelo and his friends notice people acting more and more strangely, as if something is taking over their brains.

Flock Horror

Angelo and his friends believe they can handle almost anything, including giant mutant spiders and snake-like parasites. When a new enemy attacks from above, they face a threat that seems to be their ultimate match.

Deadly Deep

During the summer term, Year 8 take a school trip on a boat off the coast of France to learn about ocean life. Things are about to get weird, and a creepy man on board raises questions.

Fright Bite

For Colette’s birthday, the friends spend the evening at Neon Perch, an entertainment spot with pizza and mini golf. The highlight is Project Z, a new escape room experience.

Terror Tower

After facing mind-controlling parasites, monsters of the deep, giant spiders and vampire birds, Angelo and his friends find their adventures are not over. Dread Wood High is now suffering from an infestation of caterpillars.
