Kuhn Rikon Hotpan Serving Casserole 3L / 22cm

Designed and manufactured in Switzerland, the Kuhn Rikon Hotpan Serving Casserole combines a highly polished stainless steel pot and lid with an insulating melamine bowl for an efficient, heat-retaining way to cook. Start on the hob in the stainless steel pot, then transfer the lidded pot into the melamine bowl to continue cooking on a work surface and keep food warm for up to 2 hours.

Built around an airtight lid and a Superthermic sandwich base for even heating on any hob, this 3L / 22cm Hotpan is finished with stay-cool, heat resistant handles and graduated litre markings inside the pot for straightforward measuring. The stainless steel pot and lid can also be used in the oven up to 180°C.

Use and care

• Before first use, remove sticky labels and any residue with a soapy cloth or sponge, then handwash and dry
• For hand cleaning, use hot soapy water; soak if needed for stubborn burnt-on stains
• Clean gently with a nylon brush or scourer; avoid abrasive cleaners and metal scourers
• Remove limescale marks with vinegar or lemon juice
• Use silicone or wooden utensils; avoid sharp implements and electric blenders in the pan
• Match the pan diameter to the hob ring, heat gradually and never heat an empty pan
• Avoid dragging across glass topped hobs and keep gas flames from licking up the sides
• Use oven gloves and place on an oven shelf, not the oven floor
• Never place the melamine bowl on direct heat, in the oven or in the microwave
