Kuhn Rikon Hotpan Stew Pot 5L / 22cm

Designed for gentle, efficient cooking, the Kuhn Rikon Hotpan Stew Pot combines a cooking pot with an insulating bowl to continue cooking after brief heating on the hob. This 3-in-1 system supports cooking, soft cooking and keeping hot, with food staying warm for up to 2 hours.

Made in Switzerland from high-quality 18/10 stainless steel, it features a double-wall stainless steel lid, stay cool handles and litre inner scale markings. Suitable for all hobs including induction, gas, ceran, electric and halogen, it is also oven safe up to 180°C when used without the isolating bowl.

Use and care

• Never place a plastic holder on the hob and never leave an empty pan on a hot hob hotplate
• Never fill the plastic holder directly with hot liquids and only use it in combination with the cooking pot
• For normal soiling use ordinary detergent
• For intensive soiling, scale and/or discolouration use a chromium steel cleaner
• Abrasive cleaners can damage the pot’s surface
• Dishwasher suitable, washing by hand is recommended
• Regular dishwasher washing may dull synthetic fittings and may cause aluminium to oxidise or corrode
• Do not remove stuck food with sharp objects, steel wool or scourers
• Remove limescale with vinegar or lemon juice
• Never place the melamine bowl on direct heat, in the oven or microwave
