Kuhn Rikon LOCARNO Pasta Pot with insert 6.5L 22 cm

Designed and produced in Switzerland, the Kuhn Rikon Locarno pasta pot brings a modern, understated look to the hob. Made from robust 18/10 stainless steel with a matt brushed finish, it pairs a generous 6.5L capacity with thoughtful details for everyday cooking.

A strainer insert supports easy lifting and draining, while the glass lid includes a steam vent to allow visual monitoring and help prevent a vacuum lock as the pot cools. Inside, litre markings make it simple to measure liquids directly in the pot. The Superthermic sandwich base features an aluminium base fully encapsulated in stainless steel, and ergonomic all-black Bakelite handles are designed to stay cool in the hand.

Use and care

• For normal soiling, use ordinary detergent
• For intensive soiling, scale and/or discolouration, use a chromium steel cleaner such as Swiss Cleaner
• Abrasive cleaners and dishwashers can damage the surface
• Hand washing is recommended
• With regular dishwasher washing, synthetic fittings may lose their shine and aluminium may oxidise or corrode
• Do not use sharp objects such as knives, steel wool or scourers to remove stuck food
• Remove limescale with vinegar or lemon juice
