La Gioiosa Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato

From La Gioiosa, Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato 2023 is a sparkling wine produced in the heart of Prosecco country, with the house based in Treviso. Recognised as one of Italy’s leading Prosecco producers, La Gioiosa has consistently received international awards.

Created with a clear focus on freshness, the Prosecco must is frozen prior to fermentation to help preserve its character for bottling. Whole grapes are softly pressed using a pneumatic press, before the must is racked and held in temperature-controlled tanks until it is required for sparkling wine production. Fermentation is carried out with La Gioiosa-selected yeast cultures at a controlled temperature of 15–16C, then stopped by refrigeration once the required alcohol and sugar content is reached. After a short settling period, the sparkling wine is ready for bottling.
