Large Brown Embossed Notebook

Designed for those who value the feel of a truly handmade page, this large brown embossed notebook pairs traditional craft with contemporary making. Each one is hand bound and finished with embossed detailing created using small handmade tools, giving every notebook its own character. As each piece is made by hand, the pattern may differ from the one pictured, and colours and designs can vary.

The leather cover uses a by-product of the meat industry in India, tanned with natural dyes and protected with natural oils to help it soften and age over time. Inside, you’ll find unlined pages made from handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from waste in the Indian garment industry. The paper is acid-free, lightly textured and thick, making it a pleasure for writing, drawing or painting. It performs well with ball-point pens, gel pens and watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended.
