From Meinert, the 2018 '6Chen' is a Chenin Blanc drawn from two mature vineyard sites and fermented in a concrete egg. This South African white has a subtle, layered style, combining weight and richness with bright acidity and a long, persistent finish.

The nose opens with quince, pear and butterscotch, then develops a toasty, mushroomy character. Rich and well knit, it has the structure to reward a few years of keeping before drinking.
