Metal Church 'Congregation of Annihilation' CD

Metal Church Congregation of Annihilation is the band’s 13th studio album, released on CD. It is the first Metal Church release since the death of vocalist Mike Howe in July 2021, and the first album with vocalist Marc Lopes, who joined in summer 2022.

The line-up on this release includes founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof alongside guitarist Rick Van Zandt, bassist Steve Unger and drummer Stet Howland. The album is presented as a return to the band’s musical roots, with references to the mood of the self-titled first album and The Dark.
