Synopses

The Outsiders

Hylas knows the Gods exist, magic is real, and somebody wants him dead. Hunted and alone, he searches for his missing sister across the mountains and seas of Ancient Greece, guided by a wild dolphin and aided by a girl on the run as his enemies close in.

The Burning Shadow

Captured by slavers, Hylas is forced to work in the underground mines of Thalakrea, where he realises he is dangerously close to the Crows. Pirra is also on the run, and when Fate brings them together, their survival depends on ancient magic and an orphaned lion cub.

The Eye of the Falcon

After the eruption of Thalakrea, ash blots out the Sun and winter will not end. Fate brings Hylas to the island of Keftiu, where cold, famine and plague have ravaged the land, and he sets out to find Pirra and Havoc the lion cub, fearing they may not have survived.

The Crocodile Tomb

Hylas and Pirra reach Egypt in pursuit of the dagger of Koronos, only to discover the Crows arrived first. Led by Telamon, they will do anything to recover the blade, now buried beyond the reach of mortals, forcing Hylas and Pirra towards their most dangerous journey yet.

Warrior Bronze

Hylas and Pirra return to Akea for a final confrontation with the Crows. To end the warriors’ brutal rule, they must recover the dagger of Koronos, but even with old and new friends joining forces, the cost of victory may be higher than either expects.
