Synopsis

In a society shaped by superpowers, heroes are trained and officially licensed to protect the public from supervillains. Not everyone can become a recognised hero, and some choose to act without sanction, raising questions about what drives them and what justice means when it is pursued in secret.

After trouble at the Marukane department store’s grand reopening is avoided through the efforts of Koichi, Pop Step and their group of low-end idols, a more serious crisis is stopped when Knuckleduster confronts Kuin Hachisuka. With Tamao, Knuckleduster’s estranged daughter, under possession, he is pushed to the brink in his attempt to free her. Having finally achieved his aim and saved her, Knuckleduster faces what comes next for his life as a vigilante.
