For interior wooden floors and furniture, Osmo Polyx-Oil Original Hard Wax Oil provides a clear finish that enhances the natural character of the wood. This high solid oil and wax treatment leaves a subtle satin shimmer and is suitable for a range of interior timbers including oak, pine, spruce, beech, ash, alder, Douglas fir, birch and larch.

Its microporous, breathable finish is water, dirt and abrasion resistant, while helping protect against scratches, scuffs and common liquids such as juice, tea and wine. Formulated from vegetable oils and waxes, it is also resistant to saliva and sweat and suitable for children’s toys.

Care and maintenance

• Remove old finishes and fill imperfections before application.
• Sand the surface and wipe clean before applying.
• Apply thinly.
• Apply a second coat after drying for 8-10 hours.
• No sanding is needed for spot repairs or future applications.
