From Ossian Vides y Vinos, Capitel Organic Verdejo 2021 is a white wine from the Peña Aguda vineyard plot in Nieva. This 150cl magnum is made from Verdejo and draws its character from vines averaging 200 years of age, rooted in sandy topsoil over slate.

Hand-harvested whole bunches were pressed, then fermented spontaneously with native yeasts in 228-litre Burgundy barrels. Ageing on the lees for 10 months with periodic stirring brings texture and concentration, while the wine’s profile combines mouthwatering freshness with notable richness. It is suitable for cellaring and will develop further over time.
