From Otway & Orford, the ‘Lone Fighter’ is a silk Pocket Square made in England, created in collaboration with contemporary artist Richard Knight and inspired by the iconic Spitfire. Rendered in orange, the artwork is framed by a tangerine orange border and finished with a pale blue, hand-rolled and hand-sewn ‘shoestring’ hem for a distinctive edge detail.
Produced in Macclesfield, the traditional home of English silk printing, the design is reproduced with care to achieve strong colour and clarity on both the printed and reverse sides of the fine 16oz Mulberry silk twill, so it looks considered whichever fold you choose. The original artwork was created in acrylic on canvas and features the Mk IX Spitfire, introduced in 1942 with production continuing until April 1945.
Dry clean only. Avoid pressing the hand-finished hem to preserve its distinctive ‘shoestring’ shape.
Please note: Colours shown are as accurate as possible, though may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
