From Paper High, the Indra Medium Embossed & Stitched Leather Journal is a Fair Trade notebook crafted using a blend of contemporary and traditional methods. Each journal is hand bound and finished with embossed detailing made using small handmade tools, so every piece is unique and the pattern may vary from the one pictured. The leather cover is made using a by-product of the meat industry in India, tanned with natural dyes and protected with natural oils to soften and age over time.

Inside, 125 pages of unlined khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi) offer a lightly textured, luxuriously thick surface for writing, drawing, or painting. Made by hand from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from the Indian garment industry, the paper is acid-free. It is suitable for ball-point pens, gel pens, and watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended. A brass clasp keeps the pages secure, making it a considered choice for journalling, scrapbooking, and everyday note-taking.
