Hand crafted by Fair Trade artisans, the Paper High Indra Medium Embossed & Stitched Leather Journal with Semi-Precious Stone is a beautifully detailed choice for writing, journalling or scrapbooking. Each journal is bound by hand using a blend of contemporary and traditional methods, designed to stand up to everyday knocks and bumps as you carry it with you.

The leather cover is made using a by-product of the meat industry in India and tanned with natural dyes, then protected with natural oils to soften and age over time. Embossed detailing is created with small handmade tools, so every piece is unique and the pattern may vary from the one pictured. Semi-precious stones are stitched on and will also differ by nature. Inside, unlined pages are made from handmade khadda paper (also known as kaddi or khaddi), crafted from recycled, unbleached cotton salvaged from waste in the Indian garment industry. The paper is acid-free, lightly textured and thick, making it suitable for ball-point pens, gel pens and watercolours; fountain pens are not recommended.
