From one of Carneros’ most established vineyard sites, Patz and Hall Chardonnay Hyde Vineyard 2017 is a California Chardonnay with a poised, expressive style. Sourced from Hyde Vineyard, founded in 1979 by Larry Hyde, it comes from a site closely associated with cool-climate varieties and the wider reputation of the Carneros district for premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

The wine opens with layered aromatics and carries that detail through to the palate. Honey, orange peel, white blossom and toasted almonds lead on the nose, followed by tangy green apple and the rich, mellow character of all-butter shortbread. Its balance of freshness and roundness makes it well suited to the table.
